Fantastic Four #1 by Ryan North

If you've been looking for a good jumping on point as you get excited for the new Fantastic Four movie then you've found it right here! We've got a new #1 that's written by the same fella who's been doing a great job with Marvel's First Family for the last 3 years. The artist on this new run has a bit of a love it or hate it art style but I also believe that it'll be a great fit for a character like Mister Fantastic!

FML #5 by Kelly Sue DeConnick

I wanted to take the opportunity while a new issue is coming out to shout out one of my favorite indie books on the stands! Writer Kelly Sue DeConnick (author of Bitch Planet and many other titles under the big two) has been putting together a story that feels perfect for anybody that's a fan of what we're doing here at Creature's. FML follows a group of weirdo kids in a weirdo town that find an old zine collection in one of their mom's attics that turns out to have magical properties. This book is full of misfits, punk bands, goths, and even a story that seems to mirror experiences with body dysmorphia! It's hard to describe how special this book feels but with all of the care put into each page and panel I have to shout it out.
